ACC Statement on Coronavirus:
updated as of March 17, 2020

We have been painstakingly monitoring the Coronavirus situation with hope that we would be able to welcome you to Chicago for some normalcy come May. However, with each passing day that possibility becomes more and more unlikely. At this point in time, we feel that if we were to host Copper College in May, we’d be unable to provide you with impactful networking opportunities or a full educational program. In light of this, as well as the implicit health concerns, we feel it is in our members’ and friends’ best interest to cancel Copper College 2020.

If you have already registered for Copper College you will be fully refunded by the end of the month. If you prefer to direct your payment towards prepaying your Fall 2020 meeting registration, please let me know (the Fall Meeting will be held November 11 - 13, 2020 at The Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne). If you have a room booked at the Sofitel Chicago they will be cancelling your reservation and sending you a cancellation confirmation by email.

Thanks for your patience as we navigate these uniquely challenging times. We urge you all to take precautions and stay well. More information on our next steps will be coming to you soon.

Copper College 2020

May 5 - 8, 2020

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Chicago in May! This page will be updated as details continue to be confirmed.

Every other year the ACC presents Copper College, an extended meeting with the addition of our Copper 101 programming. Copper 101 takes a deep-dive into the life of copper, from ground to market. Attending Copper 101 is a great opportunity for those new to the industry, or equally, for those wanting to become better informed of niches of the industry other than their own.

In addition to Copper 101 we also present Copper 201, which is our typical programming addressing relevant and timely topics impacting the industry today.
